What we learn from reviewing Jaipur business profiles
Patterns from real audits, published once the reviews are done. No business will ever be named.
What customers check before they call you
The short list people look at on their phone, and how to check yours in ten minutes.
Before anyone calls, they’ve usually made a shortlist. Getting onto it depends on a few things they can see in under a minute.
- Search your business name and area on your phone. Does your Google profile show the right phone number and hours?
- Look at the photos. Are they of your real space, and recent?
- Read your last five reviews. Did anyone from your business reply?
- Open your Instagram as a stranger. Can you tell what you do, where you are and how to enquire without scrolling?
- Try to enquire. Call the listed number on a weekday morning, send a WhatsApp and fill in the form. Note how long each reply takes.
If any of these made you wince, that’s where to start.

Get a free auditYour Google Business Profile, filled in properly
The fields that matter most, and the ones most often left blank.
For many customers, your Google profile is the first thing they see. It’s free, and most of it takes an afternoon.
- Category: choose the most specific primary category, then add a few secondary ones.
- Hours: keep them accurate, and add holiday hours before festivals.
- Phone: use the number someone actually answers.
- Photos: entrance, inside, team and your work. Real and recent.
- Services: list them in the words customers use, not internal names.
- Reviews: reply to every one, politely, including the critical ones.
- Updates: post offers and news, so the profile looks active.

Get a free auditOne enquiry path, not five
Why giving customers fewer ways to contact you can bring more enquiries.
Many businesses list a landline, two mobiles, an email, a form and a WhatsApp number. Customers don’t know which to use, and enquiries get scattered across people and phones.
- Choose one primary channel. For most Jaipur customers, that’s WhatsApp or a call.
- Use the same number on Google, Instagram, the website and printed material.
- Set a WhatsApp Business greeting that tells people what happens next.
- Keep one simple log of every enquiry, so follow-ups don’t depend on memory.

Get a free auditReels that bring enquiries, not just views
Views are nice. Messages pay the bills. How to plan Reels that do both.
A Reel can go viral and bring zero customers. Another can get modest views and fill your week. The difference is usually in the plan.
- Show the real thing. Your space, your team, your process. People buy from businesses they can picture visiting.
- Hook in the first two seconds. Start with the result, a question or something surprising.
- Answer a real question. Prices, timings, “is this for me?” Questions customers ask on WhatsApp make great Reels.
- End with one next step. “Message us on WhatsApp” beats “follow for more”.
- Track messages, not just views. Note which Reels bring DMs and make more like them.

Get a free auditBefore you boost a post: 5 checks
The boost button is easy. Wasting money with it is easier. Check these first.
Boosting a post can work, but only if the basics are in place. Before spending, check:
- Goal: do you want messages, calls or website visits? Pick one, and choose it in the ad settings.
- Audience: set a realistic radius around your business, not the whole state.
- Offer: is there a clear reason to act now? “Free trial this week” beats “we’re the best”.
- Profile: people will check your profile before messaging. Make sure it looks active and clear.
- Reply speed: if messages wait hours for a reply, the ad money is mostly wasted.
Start small, watch the cost per message for a week, then decide.

Get a free auditIs your website losing enquiries on mobile?
A 10-minute test you can do on your own phone, right now.
Most of your visitors are on a phone, often on mobile data. Do this test on your own phone, not on Wi-Fi:
- Load time: open your website. Does the main content appear within about three seconds?
- First screen: can you tell what you do and where you are without scrolling?
- Tap to contact: is there a call or WhatsApp button you can tap easily with your thumb?
- The form: fill it in. Is it short? Did you get a confirmation? Did anyone receive it?
- Prices & timings: can you find them within two taps?
Each “no” is an enquiry you’re probably losing.

Get a free auditHow to ask for Google reviews, without it feeling awkward
Most happy customers will leave a review. They just need to be asked well.
Reviews are one of the first things people compare. Most businesses simply don’t ask.
- Ask at the right moment: right after a good experience, not days later.
- Make it one tap: share your direct review link on WhatsApp, or put a QR card at your counter.
- Keep the message short: “Thank you for coming in! If you have a minute, a Google review really helps us.”
- Reply to every review: thank people by name, and respond calmly to criticism.
- Never buy or fake reviews: it breaks Google’s rules and customers can usually tell.
